This does not speed the Wi-Fi up in the house, it optimizes it for the computer, so you need to do this on each computer you use.
• type ‘network connections’ into the Windows search box
• double click ‘Wi-Fi’
• click Properties button
• click Configure button
• click Advanced tab
• select Wireless Mode
• change value to IEEE 802.11a/n/ac
• click OK
Your internet should be faster! (Note: this worked on Jeff’s desktop but not my laptop)
