DONNA D’S CHRISTMAS COOKIES

Jeff’s mom used to make these every Christmas.

Scale

1/2 cup butter

1 cup sugar

2 eggs well beaten

1 teaspoon vanilla

1 tablespoon milk

2 1/4 cups flour

1 teaspoon baking powder

1/2 teaspoon baking soda

1/2 teaspoon salt

Step 1: Cream butter. Add sugar and continue creaming until well blended.

Step 2: Add beaten eggs, vanilla, and milk. Mix well.

Step 3: Sift together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

Step 4: Add dry ingredients to liquid mixture. Mix well

Step 5: Put in refrigerator covered and chill.

Step 6: Roll out and cut.

Step 7: Bake on a greased cookie sheet at 375, for 8 to 13 minutes

This recipe makes about 4 dozen cookies. I usually double it.
